CYNTHIA SMITH

Cynthia Smith, a homemaker, entered into eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Northshore on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at the age of 61. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. She was a former Security Guard at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and the New Orleans Superdome. Wife of the late Anderson Adams. Devoted mother of Travis Tucker, Donna Smith, Della Smith, Sharon Smith, Shana Smith, Jacqueline Smith, Richmond Smith, and Daniel Allen. Loving companion of Carl Allen. Daughter of the late Edward Paul Smith and Gloria Jefferson Smith. Sister of Darryl Smith, Kerry Smith, Adrian Collins, Janice Hamilton, Gloria Smith, and the late Sandra Miller, Debra, Edward, Donna, Tyrone, Paula, and Pam Smith. She was preceded in death by Donald Allen. Cynthia is also survived by 34 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Sixth Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE ST. GRETNA, LA on Friday, December 17, 2021, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
