Cynthia Marie Williams Mitchell entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 31, 2021, at the age of 65.  She was a native of New Orleans, LA And a resident of Avondale, LA. Cynthia was a graduate of Booker T. Washington class of 1975. She served her country in the U. S. Air Force and was a former employee of Army Corps of Engineers, Port of Embarkation, and Hale Boggs Building. Devoted mother of Zakita Dillon. Grandmother of Jasmine, Mikayla, and Devante. Daughter of the late Lawrence and Nora Williams. Sister of Dwight Williams, and the late Michael Williams. Aunt of Raven Porter. Great aunt of Gabriel Porter. Godmother of Shunsherrell Blunte Youngblood. Longtime companion of the late Willie Powell, also survived by 1 great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
