CY HENRY II

Cy Henry, II entered eternal rest at his residence on Friday, July 31, 2026, at the age of 61. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Cy was educated in the Orleans Parish School System, and he was a self-employed craftsman. Devoted father of the late Jessica Henry. Bonus father of Theresa Cartwright, Kris Henry, and Tamaz Henry. Beloved son of the late Cy Henry, Sr. and Lillie Henry. Stepson of the late Ethel Henry. Grandson of the late Mack Henry, Sr., Nancy Henry, Johnny Wiggins, and Bealuah Wiggins. Brother of Similah Henry, Sr., Reginald (Tada) Henry, Sr., Henry McGuffey, Sr., Anthony McGuffey, Sr., Shirley Delaughter, Marie (Lionel, Sr.) Smallwood, Belinda McGuffey, Renee (Calvin) McGuffey., and the late Isadore Henry, L.C. Henry, Gerald Henry, Lawrence Henry, Larry McGuffey, and Lillie Henry. Cy is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Javonte W. Jimcoily officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
