Curtis Jacobs entered into eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Thursday September 8, 2022, at the age of 78. He was a native and resident of Marrero, LA. Curtis was a graduate of Lincoln High School, and a retired painter and maintenance worker for Jefferson Place and Beechgrove Apartment. Son of the late Johnny Jacobs, Jr., and Elvera Johnson Jacobs. Grandson of the late Johnny Jacobs, Sr., Florence M. Jacobs, and Elizabeth B. Lemieux. Loving brother of Lorraine Jacobs, Myra Jacobs (Min. Henry E., Jr.) Johnson, and the late Elaine J. Woods, Lawrence, Sr., Joyce J., and John Jacobs, III. Godfather of Elvera C. Hubbard. Special cousin and friend of Anthony White, also survived by a 11 nieces and nephews, and a host of great nieces, and nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church 236 Robinson Ave. Marrero, LA on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Pastor / Teacher Dr. Melvin Zeno Officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery -Westwego, LA.
