CONSTANCE MARIE MITCHELL

Constance Marie Mitchell entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at the age of 67. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Constance was a graduate of L. B. Landry High School, and she was a former supervisor with Weatherford Academy. Loving mother of Byron Keith (Nakisha) Fazande, Jr. and Byron Kirk “Bryan” (Monica) Fazande. Devoted daughter of Gervin R. Mitchell and Betty Martin. Stepdaughter of the late Albert Martin, Sr. Granddaughter of the late Eli and Fannie Watson, Hillary and Pauline Mitchell. Sister of Alwin Mitchell, Albert Martin, Lynette Houston, and the late Alan Martin, also survived by 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Second Zion Baptist Church, Greater Faith Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Memorial Celebration of Life Service at Second Zion Baptist Church, 6520 Second Zion Ave.  Marrero, LA on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Bishop James Nelson Brown officiating.
