CLYDE MARTIN

Clyde Martin entered peacefully into eternal rest at his residence on Monday, May 26, 2023, at the age of 63. He was a native and resident of Westwego, LA. Clyde was educated in the Jefferson Parish Public School System. He was a self-employed lawn care provider for many years, who also enjoyed repairing bicycles, lawn mowers, and detailing cars. Loving father of Tyron (Dedria) Martin, Sr. of Hahnville, LA, Brandon (Crystal) Martin of Westwego, LA, and Deshana Johnson of Oklahoma. Beloved son of the late Harold Joseph Martin, Sr. and Lorenza Fazande Martin. Brother of Harold Martin, Jr. of Marrero, LA, Charles L. (Jeanette) Martin of Harvey, LA, Lorraine C. (Floyd Sr.) Davis of Marrero, LA, Marva Martin Ceasar of Sulphur, LA and Debra Ann Martin of Westwego, LA. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Clyde is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 10:00a.m.  Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
