Cleveland C. Polk departed this life at V. A. Medical Center on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at the age of 68. He was a native and resident of Marrero, LA, and reared in Bridge City, LA. Cleveland was a veteran of the United States Army. Beloved son of the late Samuel, Sr. and Althea C. Polk. Loving brother of Daisy P. (Michael) Woods, Denise S. (Michael) Ramey, Donna Polk, Calvin W., Stanley, Sr., and Freddie (Janice) Polk, and the late Annie P. Roby, Samuel Polk, Jr., Carole P. Alexander, Alfreda P. Bruster, and Jacqueline Polk. Cleveland is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relative and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Life Center Cathedral, Great Mount Calvary, and all neighboring churches; employees of Walmart (1353 and 911), Jefferson Parish Public School System, Entergy, Monsanto, City of Kenner, and V. A. Medical Center are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Friday, May 27, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Bishop J. D. Wiley, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
