CLAUDIA ANN BELL COBB

May 3, 1943 — December 8, 2021

Claudia Ann Bell Cobb, age 78, peacefully transitioned into eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank Campus on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. She was a native of New Orleans, LA, and a resident of Marrero, LA.  Claudia was a proud graduate of Lincoln High class of 1961, and a retired phlebotomist at Touro Hospital LCMC Health (formerly Touro Infirmary). Beloved wife of the late Isadore Cobb. Devoted of Carla Cobb Williams (Albert), Geisille Cobb Turner (Jerome). Grandmother of Brionne Bell (Glenn, Jr.), Jaron Foy (Chrisie), DeJean, Cierra, Breana, and Casey Turner. Great grandmother of Chris Jackson, Ramya Moran, Phoenix and Glenn Bell III, Delaney Foy, and five other great- grandchildren. Daughter of the late James and Annie B. Bell. Granddaughter of the late Millie Brown. Sister of Janice Bell Cotton (John), and Rhonda Bell Oliver (Van). Aunt of the late Murphy Prevost, Jr., and Adrian “Willie” Cobb. Special cousin/sister of Olga Johnson. Sister-in-law of Gail S. Cobb, and the late Lucille Cobb Prevost, Elbert Cobb, Sr., and Murphy Prevost, Sr.  Godmother of Rhea Ramsey, Ira Taylor, and Andia Christopher. Devoted friend of Gloria Hawkins, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Relatives, and friends of the family Dominion and Power Ministries, Second Zion Baptist Church #1 and neighboring churches are invited to attend her Celebration of Life at Second Zion Baptist Church #1, 2929 Second Ave. New Orleans, LA, on Saturday, December 18, 2021, 10:00a.m. Rev. Derrick D. Webb, Host Pastor - Bishop Tyrone Washington of Dominion and Power Ministries, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time. Interment: Providence Memorial Park and Mausoleum Cemetery-Metairie, LA. Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Services, 230 Monroe St, Gretna, LA.
