CLARK ANTHONY HOLMES

Clark Anthony Holmes entered peacefully into eternal rest at Chateau Living Center on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at the age of 68. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a lifelong resident of Kenner, LA. “Anthony”, as he was affectionately known to family and friends, was educated in the Jefferson Parish Public School System. He was a retired cook. Loving father of Sharon Armstrong of St. Rose, LA. Grandfather of Coryan and Cardae Armstrong. Beloved son of the late Edward Holmes, Sr. and Sadie Bell Holmes. Grandson of the late James and Alberta Allen. Brother of Calvin and Kenneth Holmes of LaPlace, LA, James Holmes of Kenner, LA, Sharon Holmes of San Diego, CA, Roslyn “Tina” Bell of Metairie, LA, and the late Shelia Braud and Edward Holmes, Jr. Brother-in-law of Floyd Bell, Sr., Sandra Holmes, and Charlie Braud. Anthony is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Michael Baptist Church, Oakland Baptist Church, Pilgrim Baptist Church, Second New Guide Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches; Hanson City Community are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at St. Michael Baptist Church, 315 James Street Kenner, LA on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
