CLARISA SUSAN SMITH

Clarisa Susan Smith entered eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Friday, October 16, 2026, at the age of 76. She was a native and resident of Gretna, LA. Clarisa was a graduate of L. B. Landry High School. She was employed as a nurse assistant and sales associate. Beloved mother of Dione Smith, Michael Smith, Michelle Smith, Danielle Smith, and Daniel Smith. Grandmother of the late Andre’ Johnson. Daughter of the late Edward Smith, Jr. and Laura Mae Jett. Stepdaughter of the Walter Roy, Sr. Granddaughter of the late Frank and Theresa Jett. Sister of Joseph Evans, Sr., Albert “A. J.” Jett, Theresa Williams, Billie Brown and the late Cleveland Smith, Sr. Clarisa is also survived 9 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and relatives. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Friday October 23, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
