Clarence Edward Robinson, a retired machinist and truck driver, departed this life on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., at the age of 75. He was a native of Huntsville, AL and a longtime resident of Westwego, LA. Beloved husband of Cynthia D. Robinson. Devoted father of Keyshorn (Daniel) Parker, Lisa Mitchell, Eric (Chekita) Jones, Clarence Robinson Jr., Clarence Robinson, III, Marcus Robinson, Christopher Robinson, and Stephanie Robinson. Son of the late Willie Robinson Sr. and Paiszetter Turner, he was raised by his grandmother the late Eliza Turner. Brother of Cassandra (Jake) Giden, Emmanuel Robinson, Willie Robinson Jr., and the late Kelvin Robinson, Mary Robinson, and Euthia Watkins. Nephew of Mary Booker of Huntsville, AL. Son-in-law of the late Henderson “Everything” Davis and Polly Davis. Brother-in-law of Polly (James) Evans, Sandra Fuller, Lillian Robinson, and the late Cora Massey, and Dorothy (Oliver Sr.) Williams. Godfather of LaTasha Madear (Andrew) Duplessis, Tyler Duplessis, India Coleman, and Devante “Tex” Dorsey. Clarence was the proud grandfather of 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends who will miss him tremendously. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Mark Baptist Church, Holy Trinity Christian Baptist Church, Olive Branch Baptist Church, St. Joseph Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches; employees of New Orleans Safe and Driving School, First Student Transportation, Ochsner Medical Center East and West Bank locations; Alumni of L.B. Landry High School Classes of 1974 and 1995 are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Holy Trinity Christian Baptist Church, 1727 Erie St. New Orleans, LA on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Patrick L. Leonard Host Pastor - Pastor Lonnie Williams of St Mark Baptist Church, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church.
