CLARA JEAN HAMPTON

Clara J. Hampton, a homemaker, entered into eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at the age of 59.  She was a native and resident of Marrero, LA. Loving mother of Shavone Hampton and Keith Hampton. Daughter of the late Willie and Rita B. Hampton. Beloved sister of Tierney (Jacqueline) Shellmire, Edward Shellmire, Willie (Natachia) Hampton, Shelia (Carl) Johnson, and the late Annette Hampton, Carmenzette Moten, Joseph Hampton, and Lionel Hampton. Clara is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relative and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Loren Lovely, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time.
