Clara Chinn Boss departed this life on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at the age of 82. She was native of Morganza, LA, a former resident of New Roads, LA and presently residing in Avondale, LA. She was a retired Bus Attendant with the Jefferson Parish School System. Beloved wife of the late Robert Lee Boss. Devoted mother of Deandria L. Scott, Charles E. Scott, Terry L. Scott, Jacqueline A. Scott, John A. Scott, Joyce B. Scott, Omar Boss, Otheo Boss, and the late Clifton Scott and Margaret B. Scott. Daughter of the late Willie Chinn and Victoria Goodman.  Loving sister of Bertha Chinn Harris, Ray Charles Honore, Leonard Honore, and the late Willie Chinn, Jr., Doris Honore Lamark, Edward James Honore, RC Honore, and Theresa Chinn. Clara is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, neighbors, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Visitation at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE ST.
