CHRISTOPHER JOSEPH BURNS, JR.

Christopher Joseph Burns, Jr., a contractor with Pintail Construction, departed this life on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at the age of 37. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Loving father of Mariah, Christiana, Mya, Annabella, Trinity, Aliyah, Aria, Christopher, III and Myron. Beloved son of Constance Lumar Varmall and the late Christopher Joseph Burns, Sr. Stepson of Keith A. Varmall, Sr. Grandson of Mary “Lane” Burns and the late Vernell Burns, Sr., Claudel Lumar, Sr., and Helen Bradford Lumar. Devoted brother of Brandon Hurst, Brandon Burns, Keith Varmall, Jr., and the late Kristen Burns. Nephew of the late Vernell “Anne” Burns, Jr. Godson of Jeffery Heard, Sr. and Yolanda Lumar Miller; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Grace and Glory Family Worship Church International, Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, Greater Bethlehem Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Grace and Glory Family Worship Church International, 802 Third Street New Orleans, LA on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.Interment: Will be Private.
