CHEYANNE MARIE JONES

Cheyanne Marie Jones transitioned from labor to reward on Monday, January 9, 2023, at the age of 49. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and presently residing in Houston, TX. Cheyanne was employed with Burlington, Wal Mart, Houston Garden, and BMW Meat Market in Texas just to name a few. She was a member of Fallbrook Church under the leadership of Pastor Michael A. Penders. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, and spending time with family and friends. Loving mother of Courtney Jones, Charmaine Jones, Jahmal Jones, Desentae Jones, Devontae Jones, and Dwayne Nelson. Grandmother of Desentae Jones, Jr., Tiana Jones, Damire Jones, Damarion Jones, DaQuan Jones, Zyreion Jones, Kennedy Jones, and the late Terrione Jones. Daughter of the late Earl Jones, and Mary Armstead. Granddaughter of the late Willie and Ethel Jones.  Sister of Debra Miles, Shawn Armstead, Charlene (Michael) Ramsey, Louis Bush, Calvin Armstead, Lance (Dana) Armstead, and the late Dwayne Armstead. Great niece of the late Helen Cheatham, also survived by a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe Street Gretna, LA on Friday, January 20, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Rev. Lance Armstead officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
