CHARLIE RAYMOND TEMPLE

Charlie Raymond Temple entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at the age of 73. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Charles as he was affectionately known by family and friends was retired, and he worked as a longshoreman for Stevedore Union, a welder for Avondale Shipyard just to name a few. Beloved husband of Stephanie Sanders Temple. Devoted father of Harry Temple, Eric (Tangela) Temple, Sam (Shantella) Martin, Charlie Martin, Rob Wallace, Nikka (Raheem) White-Spot, Quiana Martin, Easter (George) Martin, and Shannon Collins. Son of the late Henry Temple and Easter Lee Gatlin. Stepson of the late George Gatlin. Brother of Henry (Lillian) Temple, George (Sharalean) Temple, and the late Sam Temple, Bobby Temple, Stella White Temple, Corrine Dejan, and Lorraine Temple. Special uncle of Charlene Griffith, also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of First Seventh Day of Adventist Church, Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at First Seventh Day of Adventist Church 4201 W. Esplanade Ave. Metairie, LA on Friday, April 22, 2022, at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor.
