Charlie “Chuck” Herman Cammon, Jr., age 68, entered eternal rest on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at University Medical Center. He was a native and resident for New Orleans, LA. Beloved husband of the late Lynn Girtley Cammon. Loving father of Chauncey (Terrell) Cammon and Chavez (Nikki) Cammon. Son of the late Charlie Herman Cammon, Sr. and Bernice Boyd Lawrence. Stepson of the late Edward Lawrence, Jr. and Verdia Mae Williams Cammon. Brother of Walter (Lena) Woods, Danna Cammon, Perry (Alma) Lawrence, Clinton (Debra) Lawrence, James Lawrence, Thaddeus Cammon, Charlene Cammon, and the late Edward Lawrence III, Kevin Cammon, and Claudette Woods Wilson. Stepbrother of the late Donald Williams. Chuck, as he is affectionately known to family and friends, is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Heart to Heart Family Worship Center, Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church #2, Beacon Light International Cathedral, and neighboring churches; employees of Charity Hospital; members of St. Augustine High School Class of 1973 are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Friday, June 10, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Miner Rogers, officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time.
