CHARLES EDWARD HENDERSON

Charles Edward Henderson departed this life at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the age of 62. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Charles built a career in the construction industry, working as a skilled brick mason. He eventually transitioned to the food service industry where he worked as a cook. Devoted husband of Ursula Henderson. Beloved father of Charles Fox, Ramona Mitchell, and the late Ulysses Vincent. Son of the late Ulysses Henderson and Charles Colston. Brother of Linda McGinnis, Karen Johnson, Wayne Henderson, and the late Denise Ross, Patricia Henderson, Ramona Henderson, and Glenn Bocage. Charles is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Fischer Community Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Fischer Community Church, 1737 L. B. Landry Ave. New Orleans, LA on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 12:00p.m. Bishop James Nelson Brown officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until the time the above named church.
