Charles Otis Harris entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the age of 65. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Charles was a graduate of Walter L. Cohen Senior High School, and he was employed with E. C. Colley Warehouse Corporation. He was the founder of Devastation Social and Pleasure Club. Beloved husband of Vanessa A. Harris. Devoted father of Michelle Manuel Johnson, Charles Armstrong, Shequitha Demond Smith, Aneka Armstrong, Sergio Scott, Charles Otis Harris Waters, Freddrica Mike Polk, Christopher Waters, Damion J. Azore, Rosean D. Harris, and Charnessa V. Harris. Son of the late Earl Harris and Carrie Rollins. Grandson of the late Israel Rollins, Sr. and Viola Rollins. Brother of Joyce James, Charlene Dixon, Barbara Rogers, and Erpsy Livas; he was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Charles also survived by 26 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of E. C. Colly Warehouse Corp., and members of Devastation Social and Pleasure Club are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, 1738 L. B. Landry Ave. New Orleans, LA on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Norman Francis, host pastor; Pastor Derrick Beaulieu, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church. Interment: Mt. Olivet Cemetery-New Orleans, LA. Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St., Gretna, LA.
