CHARLES LAVARRE BRIDGEWATER

Charles Lavarre Bridgewater entered into eternal rest on Wednesday October 27, 2021, at the age of 40.  He was a native of New Orleans, La and a resident of Westwego, LA. Charles was employed as a professional installer and truck driver. Beloved husband of Tornisha Wilson Bridgewater. Devoted father of Trey Bridgewater, Toren Bridgewater, Charde’ Bridgewater, and Tylin Bridgewater. Son of Josephine Bridgewater, and the late Lionel Paul Bridgewater, Jr. Grandson of Mary Brown and the late Lionel Bridgewater, Sr., John Houston, Suzie Houston. Brother of Joseph Lapaul (Maegan) Bridgewater, Casandra Bridgewater, and Samantha Battle. Godfather of Marquis Lewis. Son in law of Monroe Wilson, Jr., and Deborah Walker. Brother in law of Monroe Wilson, III, Jamal Wilson, and Cierra Wilson, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Israel Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Israel Baptist Church, 1612 Esther St. Harvey, LA on Friday, November 5, 2021, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Johnny McKinnies, Sr., officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the church. Interment: Will Be Private. Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA.
