CAROLYN GUILLOT BAILEY

Carolyn Guillot Bailey transition to her heavenly home at West Jefferson Medical Center on Monday, April 13, 2026, at the age of 61. She was a native and resident of Marrero, LA. Carolyn was a graduate of West Jefferson High School and employed with the City of New Orleans Maintenance Department at the New Orleans Public Library. Beloved daughter of Donald Guillot and the late Barbara Brady Guillot. Stepdaughter of the late Martha Rae Guillot. Devoted sister of Brian Guillot, Kyle Guillot, Sharron “Monique” Guillot, Tabathy Guillot Jones, and the late Latoya Guillot. Also cherishing her memories are her niece Gariun Guillot, whom she was instrumental in rearing and loved as a daughter, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Heavenly Star Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of New Orleans Public Library are invited to attend the Celebration of life at Heavenly Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1020 Cohen Street, Marrero, LA on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Rev. Aubry Wallace, host Pastor; Rev. Michael Matthews, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church.
