Carl Joseph Price, age 67, transitioned unexpectedly to his heavenly home on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the home of his brother Herman, surrounded by his loving family. He was a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Loving father of Dana Price, Carlene Coats, and Carl Joseph Coats. Son of the late Ralph, Sr. and Iola W. Price. Beloved brother Marcelyn P. Williams, Ralph (Veronica) Price, Jr., Mary Lynn P. Lewis, Reginald Price, Herman Charles (Patricia) Price, Kevin (Mantral) Price, Keith (Angela) Price, and the late Donald Ray and Ronald Price. Nephew of Inez Brent, Betty Williams, and Frank Williams. Brother-in-law of Sharon Price and the late Rene Lewis.  Devoted friend of Gertrude Hoskins; also survived by 11 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; members of Lower 9 Senior Center are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 10:00a.m. Rev. James Steve Wing, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
