CARL JOSEPH COATS

Carl Joseph Coats entered into eternal rest at his residence on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at the age of 36. He was a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Lacey, WA.  Carl served his country in the United States Army, and he was employed as a general laborer in construction. Devoted father of Tikal Love, Kaylin Jacklyn, Zyri Johnson, Messiah, Makyiah, and Malaiyah Williams. Beloved son of Caroline Coats and the late Carl J. Price. Grandson of the late Willie Coats, Sr., Ruby Lee Becker, Ralph Price, Sr., and Iola Price. Brother of Girod Stanford Coats, Roy Coats, Jason Coats, Carlene Coats Lee, and Dana Price, also survived by 1 grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor.  Interment: Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Slidell, LA.
