CALVIN WADE ROBINSON, sR.

Calvin Wade Robinson, Sr. entered peacefully into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at the age of 65. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Calvin was a 1974 graduate of George Washington Carver High School. He was a retired Warehouse Supervisor from both Entergy New Orleans and Lighting Inc. Beloved husband of Joannie Sparks Robinson. Loving father of Bengi Robinson (Gino), Tracey Madine (Nathan), Calvin Robinson, Jr., Devin Robinson, and Jonas Sparks Robinson.  Son of the late Leroy Robinson Sr., and June Mills Butler. Grandson of the late James Mills and Ethel Myers. Brother of the late Leroy Robinson, Jr. and Marcy Butler.  Calvin is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Zion Travelers First Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE ST.
