Brian Joseph Lewis entered into eternal peace at his residence on Monday, March 21, 2022, at the age 34. He was a graduate of John Ehret High School, where he was apart of the Patriot football team. Brian also studied at Louisiana State University. B. J. as he was affectionately known by family and friends was employed by Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, Domino’s, PSI Engineering Company, Spectrum, and Door Dash. Devoted father of Destiny Desean Dews. Loving son of Denise Lewis and the Late Brian Joseph Walker, Sr. Grandson of the late Rev. Albert Ernest and Lea Prim Pierre Sr., Alvin Joseph, and Diana Walker Sr. Brother of Joseph (Cesley) Lewis, Brinton Jones, Brindell, Sr. (Katie), Brandon Dorsey, Brittney Jones, Braneisha Dorsey, and Kewanda. Uncle of Ja’riyah and Ja’leah Lewis, Navionne, Sanai, Brielle Dorsey and Bralia Jones, Brindell Jr, Bentley, Nathaniel, and Noah Dorsey, Brinton Jr, Dante’, and Levon Jones. Nephew of Beatrice (Joe), Delores (Junior), Juanita (Elroy), Alberna (his godmother), Cynthia, Heather, Lawrence (Celia), Reyna, Lucien (Deborah), Alvin, Jr. (Charmaine), and Michael (Teshia), also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Second Zion Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Second Zion Baptist Church 6520 Second Zion Ave. Marrero, LA on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Bishop James Nelson Brown officiating.
