BRENDA MARIE GANT

Brenda Marie Gant, age 71, entered peacefully into eternal rest at her residence on Sunday, November 20, 2022. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Brenda was a graduate of L. B Landry High School. She was a retired X-Ray Technician of Charity Hospital. Beloved daughter of the late Samuel Gant, Sr. and Alberta Riley Gant. Loving sister of Alvin Gant, Samuel Gant, Jr., Rosalie Mosely, Lydia Phoenix, Annette Green, Antoinette Jackson, Leslie Gant, Jessica Douglas, Verna Gant, and the late Errol Gant, Sr. Aunt of the late LaTasha Gant, Errol Gant, Jr. and Aaron Gant. Brenda is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Second Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Second Baptist Church, 2836 Sullen Place New Orleans, LA on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Andre’ Sigler, officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
