BRENDA FELICIA DUNBAR

Brenda Felicia Porter Dunbar, age 72, departed this life at her residence on Friday, July 15, 2022. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Brenda was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Marrero and she attended Xavier University. She was a retired employee of the Veterans Administration. She was a member of St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church. Loving mother of Aaron Dunbar and Eric Dunbar. Beloved daughter of the late Ivan Porter, Sr. and Maude Davis Porter. Granddaughter of the late Arrena Virgil. Sister of Ivan Porter, Jr., Kenneth Porter, Michael Porter, Marquelyn Steib, LaNekia Christophe, and the late Frank Henderson. Brenda is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Private Funeral Service was held.
