BRANDON DION WILLIAMS

Brandon Dion Williams, age 64, transitioned peacefully into eternal rest at his residence on Friday, May 1, 2026, surround by his loved ones. He was a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Brandon was a 1979 graduate of West Jefferson High School and continued his studies at Louisiana State University and Xavier University of Louisiana, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and Marketing in 1986. He later obtained a Master’s degree in Leadership and Supervision from the University of New Orleans in 1997. Brandon was employed for 30 years with the Jefferson Parish Public School System, serving as a teacher, coach, administrator, and central office leader. His leadership left a lasting impact on students, colleagues, and the broader community. Brandon was a proud and devoted member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. for over 45 years. He will be remembered for his humility, wisdom, and the steady, enduring love he shared with all who knew him. Beloved husband of over 36 years to Michelle Blouin-Williams. Devoted father of Alexis and Alana Williams. Loving son of Gwendolyn Davis Williams and the late Sylvester Williams, Jr. Brother of Landon, Sr. (Shondra) and Garvin (Lydia) Williams. Cherished uncle of Montoya (Jordan) Wofford, Deira (Danny) Gonzales, Maici, Landon, Jr., and Logan Williams, Amy (Walter) Stevenson, Myles Blouin, Ireland Blouin, Nigel Stoll, and Asia Stoll. Son-in-law of Carl Blouin, Sr. and Eunette Honore Blouin. Brandon is also survived by his sister-in-law Lauren Blouin (Kerry Eaglin), and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Boynton United Methodist Church and all neighboring churches; West Jefferson High School Class of 1979 and alumni of Xavier University of Louisiana; members of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and The Links Inc.; faculty, staff and Students of St Mary’s Academy and Jefferson Parish School Board are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Gretna United Methodist Church, 1309 Whitney Avenue, Gretna, LA on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 11:00a.m. Visitation will be held from 8:00a.m. -10:00a.m. followed by The New Orleans Chapter of Links Inc., Connecting Link Memorial, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Omega Service, and family tributes.
