BEVERLY JOYCE WILSON

Beverly Joyce Williams Tribbit Wilson entered into eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Monday, February 20, 2026, at, at the blessed age of 86. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA. She was educated in the Jefferson Parish Public School System and was a proud graduate from Lincoln High School Class of 1962. Throughout her life, she worked diligently in various roles, including positions at McDonald’s, Holiday Inn, West Jefferson Hospital, Jefferson Parish School System, and as an In-Home Child Care provider. Her work ethic, compassion, and commitment to service were evident in every role she embraced. She was a faithful member of Little Zion Missionary Baptist. Beloved mother of Henderson (Francis) Wilson III, Azena Wilson (Roland) Rodney, Christina Wilson, and Dannell Williams. Bonus mother of Renata Early, Phyllis Jenkins, and Belinda Norman. Grandmother of Jamone Wilson, Desmond Wilson, Natasha Wilson, Chanell Wilson, Renell Wilson, Deondria Wilson, and the late Devin Wilson and Jahiem Wilson. Great grandmother of Dante Williams, Davante Williams, Dequan Williams, Mason Washington, Edmon Wilson, Damon Wilson, Devin Wilson, Rahinna Wilson, John Lemon III, Malaysia Wilson, Ar’mon Gomez, and Da’Karie Brown. Daughter of the late Arthur Roy Tribbit, Sr. and Mathilda Tribbit. Granddaughter of the late Arthur Roy Tribbit, Willie Sr. and Mary James Carter. Sister of Melvin Tribbit, Debra Tribbit, and the late Inez Tribbit Lewis, Arthur Roy Tribbit, Jr. and Nathan Tribbit. Favorite aunt of Demetrial Jones and Lishane Tribbit her goddaughter. Niece of the late Albert and Marie Carter, Irvin and Joseph Jones, Ruth Matthews, Lou Bretha Jones, and Louidou Melones. Godmother of Joanette Rickson. Sisters-in-law of Judyann Morton, Martha Wilson, Betty Wilson, Myrtle Conerly, Faye Shelton, and the late Jerry Wilson, Calvin Wilson and Jimmy Wilson. Best friend of Rennie Coleman, Carolyn McPherson, Jenny Murray and the late Eloise Duckette, Ida Green, Hilda Armstrong, and Ewa Martin, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends, who will forever hold her close in their hearts. Relatives and friend of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church #3, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church #3, 441 Wilson Rd.
