BETTI JEANNE WILLIAMS

Betti Jeanne Williams entered eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Thursday, June 9, 2026, at the age of 65. She was a native and resident of Marrero, LA. Betti was a graduate of John Ehret High School Class of 1978, and Northeast Louisiana University in 1983, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. She was employed as a pharmacist with West Jefferson Medical Center. Beloved mother of Leigh Ann and Lesley Williams. Devoted daughter of Ruth Jackson and the late Clarence Williams. Sister Janet (Travis) Demolle, Carl (Joan) Jackson, Sr., Welton (Arleen) Williams, and the late Felton Williams. Niece of Kathleen (Danny) Anderson, Ollie Crawford, and James (Renell) Munford, Jr. Betti is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, Sorors, coworker’s other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, members of Second Highway Baptist Church, Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches; Sorors of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Second Highway Baptist Church 1533 Haydel Dr. Marrero, LA on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Joseph Johnson, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA.
