BENNIE LEE PATTERSON

Bennie Lee Patterson entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at the age of 74. He was a native of Lorman, MS, and a former resident of Shrewsbury, LA and presently residing in Marrero, LA. Bennie was a retired welder with National Maintenance and Repair of LA and Ingalls Avondale Shipyard. Beloved father of Gedric Smith, Tracy Patterson, Daphanie Patterson and the late Eric Patterson. loving grandfather of Jarvis Patterson, Jahriya Helire, Taylor Jones, Layna Wilson, and Dayana Wilson. Son of the late Bennie Walls and Ethel Lee Patterson Gordon. Stepson of the late James Gordon. Brother of Paul Walls, Cora Smith, Margrette Haynes, Rose Dunbar, Helen Galtney, Ethel Gordon, and the late James Patterson, and Samuel Gordon, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe Street, Gretna, LA on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
