Belinda “Linda” “Nannie” “Lin-Lin” Jean Delotte Favorite peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 11, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 56. She was a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Linda, as she was affectionately known to family and friends was a graduate of L. W. Higgins High School Class of 1982. She continued her studies at Delgado Community College and was employed for 33 years with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office. Loving mother of Reynaldo Favorite, Jr. and Reshad Favorite (Anara). Devoted grandmother of Raleigh and Regan. Beloved daughter of Andrew W. Delotte II and the late Willie Mae Coleman Delotte. Granddaughter of the late Frank and Alice Coleman, Andrew and Olivia Delotte. Amazing sister of Karen M. D. Washington, Andrea Delotte (Marlon) Wing of Fairburn, GA, Darrell Lumkin and Andrew Simoneaux. Godmother of Andrew W. Delotte III and Nicole Christmas. Niece of Joseph Simmons and Katherine Coleman. Former wife of Reynaldo Favorite, Sr. and Dierick T. Brooks; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Macedonia Baptist Church of Marrero and all neighboring churches; employees of Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, 1738 L.
