AZEMORE VINCENT JOSEPH, SR.

Azemore Victor Joseph, Sr. entered eternal rest at Touro Hospital on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at the age of 80. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Azemore was a graduate of Joseph S. Clark Sr. High School, and he served his country in the United States Air Force. Azemore was a retired building inspector with the City of New Orleans. Beloved husband of Evelyn Joseph. Loving father of Azemore Victor Joseph, II, Dena Smith Peters, Tangelina Brown, and Melissa Branch. Son of the late Bernard Joseph, Sr. and Naomi Hall Joseph. Brother of Lois Marie Joseph, Josephine Harrisonm, Rose Joseph, Joyce Berniard, Sandra Johnston, and the late Hazel Jean McMorris, Bernard Joseph, Jr., Charles Joseph, Albert Joseph, Frank Joseph, Mary Ann Joseph Berry, and Yvette Joseph. Preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, also survived by 6 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Pentecost Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Pentecost Baptist Church 1510 Harrison Ave. New Orleans, LA. on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Apostle Lionel A. Roberts, Sr. officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service at the church.
