ARTHUR BROWN, JR.

Arthur Brown, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Wednesday November 8, 2023, at the age of 75. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Arthur was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School Class of 1966. Master Sergeant Brown served his country for 20 years in the United States Air Force as an airplane mechanic. He received numerous commendations Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal just to name a few. He was the owner of Brown’s Brick Masonry.  Beloved husband of the late Antoinette B. Brown. Loving father of Alicia Jones. Grandfather of Kennedy and Taylor Jones. Son of the late Arthur Brown, Sr. and Myrtle Brown. Brother of Patricia (Lester) Broom, Rose Marie (Kenneth) Brown, and the late Barbara Ann Richardson, and Roy K. Kinney, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church 1738 L. B. Landry Ave. New Orleans, LA on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time.
