ARCENIA LORRAINE BAPTISTE

Arcenia Lorraine Baptiste, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. She was a native and resident of Marrero, LA.  Arcenia was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Class of 1968.  Arcenia was employed as an Administrative Assistant.  She was a lifelong member of Regular Baptist Church where she served on the Missionary Board, was a Sunday school teacher, and prayer warrior. Beloved mother of Nicole Elon (Vincent) Mulmore. Grandmother of Steven R. (Jonshell) Whitten, Sr., Darren M. Howard, Jr., Malik Mulmore, Tariq Mulmore, and Imani Mulmore. Great grandmother of Summer Nicole Whitten.  Great great grandmother of Steven R. Whitten, Jr., Jaxson Whitten, and Jrue M. Whitten. Daughter of the late Willis Ray Baptiste, Sr., and Lorraine Francois Baptiste. Granddaughter of the late Nathaniel Francois, Willa Mae Francois, Wallace Baptiste, and Malicia Baptiste.  Sister of Diane (Joseph, Sr.), Fennidy, Adrienne Jones, and Renee (Carl, Sr.) Castille, Willis Ray (Ann) Baptiste, Jr., Reginald Nathaniel Baptiste, Cornell Baptiste, Sr., and the late Kelvin Roy Baptiste, Valerie Lenice Baptiste, and Debra Jean Baptiste. Niece of the late Antoine Francois. friend of Jane Young and Bernadine Wright, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.  Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Regular Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches; employees of Wynhoven Nursing Home; members of the United States Coast Guard are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Regular Baptist Church 901 5th Street, Gretna, LA on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Dr. Toy A.
