ANTHONY LEE EDWARDS

Anthony Lee Edwards, age 70, entered peacefully into eternal rest at his residence on Friday, July 31, 2026. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Anthony was a graduate of Joseph S. Clark High School and a veteran of the United States Army. He was formerly employed as a floor tech with Copies One. Beloved husband of Pamela Hill Edwards. Loving father of Yashika Edwards and Gary Wilson. Stepfather of Dieketa, Monique, Ronnie, Jada, and Crystal Hill. Son of the late Alfred Edwards and Oramae Edwards. Devoted brother of Daniel Edwards, Marilyn Edwards, and Cheryl Edwards Sterling. Son-in-law of the late Thomas Hill, Sr. and Delores Hill. Anthony is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Holy Anointed House of Prayer and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Holy Anointed House of Prayer, 1447 Senate Street, New Orleans, LA on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:03a.m. until service time at the church.
