ANDREW JORDAN

Andrew Jordan, Jr. entered his heavenly home on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at the age of 53. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. "Andy”, as he was affectionately known by family and friends, was employed as a groundkeeper with the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Beloved husband of Gabrielle Miles-Jordan.  Loving father of Andrew Smith, De’Andre Jordan, Shyanne and Andrewyon Jordan. Stepfather of Courtney Miles. Son of the late Andrew, Sr. and Rutha Lee Jordan. Brother of Cassandra (Eric) Smith, Tara (Reginald) Dantzler, Shauntelle Mitchell, Mark Jordan, and the late Robert, Sr., and DeMarcus Jordan. Uncle of the late Irenika Woolridge. Godfather of Morinea Ware. Cousin of Emanuel and Leslie Randall, Michael Woolridge, and the late Danielle Randall. Preceded in death by 4 grandparents, and 8 aunts. Andrew is also survived by 5 aunts, 3 uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, New Genesis Baptist Church, Pilgrim Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches; employees of New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Volunteers of America, and Fischer Housing Community are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, 1738 L. B. Landry Ave., New Orleans, LA on Friday, July 28, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Norman Francis, host pastor; Pastor Puttman, officiating.
