ALVIN ANTHONY CHOPIN

Alvin A. Chopin departed this life at Passages Hospice on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at the age of 65. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Alvin was a 1975 graduate of West Jefferson High School and formerly employed with Bollinger as a welder. Beloved son of the late Joseph and Amie Harry Chopin. Loving brother of Calvin Chopin (his twin), Edward (Rose W.) Chopin, Sr., Bessie Chopin Oubre, and the late Ethel Chopin McKnight, Josephine Chopin Jacks, Rosemary Chopin Wofford, Raymond, Edmond, and Ivan Chopin, Sr. Nephew of Anita Batiste and Leas Stewart; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
