ALBERT RICHARDSON

Albert Richardson, age 84, transitioned from this life on Monday, April 24, 2023, at West Jefferson Medical Center. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Albert retired from New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board after more than 35 years of employment. He was active with the Mardi Gras Indians, and enjoyed playing his bongos and drums at the Jazz Fest each year. Dancing and creating diffent types of woodwork were just a few of his passions.  Beloved father of Tommy (Stacy) Richardson. Loving grandfather of Ciara Lias, Myron Green, Tamani Richardson, Caronika Green, Sandra Epherson, Sylvester Epherson, Eric Epherson, and Shelita Epherson. Special friend of Nora Epherson; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Albert weas preceded in death by his parents. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE STREET GRETNA, LA on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until service time at the parlor.
