ALAN BLAIR JAMES, SR.

Alan Blair James, Sr. entered eternal rest on Monday, December 25, 2023, at the age of 91. He was a native of Tela, Spanish Honduras and resident of New Orleans, LA.  Alan attended Newton Technical College of New Orleans, and he was a retired self-employed licensed HVAC Technician. Beloved father of Lisa Constance James, Alan Blair James, Jr., Robin Alane James, and Raquel James (Conrad) Mornay. Son of the late Clarence James and Constance Stanley James. Brother of Elvia V. James, and the late Robert Clay James, and Margaret James. Nephew of Greta Telamigue, and the late Clabon and Lorina Stanley Webb, also survived by 12 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Joan of Arc / Blessed Sacrament Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joan of Arc / Blessed Sacrament Church 8321 Burthe St. New Orleans, LA on Thursday, January 4, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the church.
