ADA B MUSE BROWN

Ada Beatrice Muse Brown, age 98, entered peacefully into eternal rest at her resident on Thursday, October 22, 2026. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Ada was a retired Registered Nurse. She was a member of Austerlitz Street Baptist Church and the Pastor’s Support Ministry. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Brown, Sr. Loving mother of Tamara B. (Joseph) Johnson, Joseph (Elvira) Brown, Jr., Fredrick (Ronghua Song) Brown, and the late Garry Brown, Sr. Daughter of the late Freddie Muse, Sr. and Ada B. Brown. Devoted sister of Elmo Muse and the late Freddie Muse, Jr. and Brenda Muse. Ada is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Austerlitz Street Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at Austerlitz Street Baptist Church, 819 Austerlitz Street Baptist Church, 819 Austerlitz Street, New Orleans, LA on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Sherman Washington, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the church. Interment: Mt.
