Albert Earl McDonald, Sr. departed this life at Meadowcrest Specialty Hospital on Tuesday, March 9 2010. Husband of Leah Washington McDonald. Father of Critty McDonald Beaucoudray, Grayling, Albert, Jr. (Renel), Bennie, Rickie, and Alonzo, Sr. (Kathie ) McDonald. Grandfather of Glen and Whitley Richardson, Courtney Landry, Chantelle, Shane, Alonzo, Jr., and Albert McDonald. Great grandfather of Zariah Gray, Tyler and Jada Landry, and Aliyah McDonald. Son of the late Earl and Critty Johnson McDonald. Brother of Joseph McDonald and the late Lloyd McDonald. Father in law of Coach Troy Beaucoudray, and Cathy Johnson McDonald, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 86 years a native and resident of Gretna, La. Relatives and friends of the family also priest and parishioners of St. Joseph Catholic Church and neighboring churches. Employees of National Gypsum Westwego, La., Jefferson Parish District Attorneys Office, U.S. Postal Service, Blaine Kern, Delgado Community College, Meadowcrest Specialty Hospital, Canon Hospice, and Total Home Health Care are invited to attend the funeral service at St. Joseph Catholic Church 610 6th St. Gretna, La. on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 10:30a.m. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery- Avondale, La.
