Calvin Davis, owner and operator of Quality Drywall for over 26 years, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 3, 2010 At Ochsner Medical Center Westbank. A music lover, as a young man formed, operated and was the lead singer of the Grip Band. He was a kind and compassionate person always finding the good in others and donated his time and money to help build the Loving Faith Baptist Church, where he was a member. Father of Danica Baham, Brandis Baham, and Ciara Burkhalter. Grandfather of Terrell Luke, Jr. and Kennedi Gayden. Son of Pastor Samuel Davis and Barbara Davis. Brother of Carl (Leslie) Davis, Kenneth (Faye) Davis, Craig and David Davis, Karen Hunter, and Catherine (Kenneth) Wright. Also survived by 2 aunts, 4 uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Age: 48 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Gretna, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Loving Faith Baptist Church, Lower Light Baptist Church and The New Jerusalem Baptist Church are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Loving Faith Baptist Church, 45 5th Street, Gretna, La., on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Samuel C.
