Jerome Lucas

Jerome (Sonny) Lucas entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Louisiana Specialty Hospital. Jerome graduated from Greenvile Park High School in Hammond, La. in 1960 and served 6 years in the Army 82nd Airborne. Beloved son of the late William Lucas and Helen Griffin. Father of Harry Lucas, Michael, and Terrell Simmons. Stepfather of Alfred and Dwayne Simmons. Grandfather of Mykel, Michael, Jr., Mekki, Tyarell, AMari, and Terrell, Jr. Brother of Charles (Mary) Lucas and Laura Rogers of Natalbany, La., also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 68 years a native of Natalbany, La. and a resident of Westwego, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Israel Baptist Church, Little Zion , Mt. Herman, True Vine, and Second St. John Baptist Churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, La. on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 9:00a.m. Rev.
