Dal Marie Hawkins

Dal Marie Hawkins departed this life on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at the age of 44. She was a resident of Marrero, LA. Dal was the beloved daughter of Minerva Hawkins and the late Howard Hawkins, Jr. Sister of Blair Hawkins-Route and brother-in-law, Larry Route. She was also the devoted aunt of Bailey Route. Dal was a graduate of John Ehret High School, LSU Medical Center, Southern University at New Orleans and Texas A& M University. Dal served her community as an Educator and School Counselor in the Dallas Independent School District and the St. Tammany Parish School District. She was also a member of Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Mt.
