Betty Jean Peterson departed this life at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 11:09a.m. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Peterson. Devoted mother of Deborah Williams, Steven Pierre, Penny Pierre, Connie Booker, Kerry (Karen) Pierre, Jody Peterson and the late Cherry Pierre. Daughter of the late Cordell and Clifford Lastrappe,Sr. Sister of Mildred Keller and the late Mary Jacko, Clifford Lastrappe, Jr. and Robert Lastrappe. Devoted friend of Sandra Reed; also survived by 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 75 years a native of Adeline, La. and a resident of New Orleans, La.
