Orinetta (Netta) Mahalia Gaines Common entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 21, 2013. Wife of the late Charles Common, III. Mother of Thaddeus (Lakisha) Common, Phylicia (Sean) Smith and the late Valencia Common. Beloved grandmother of Killian Common, Yahaira Davis, and Ayden Smith. Daughter of the late Erma and Willie Gaines. Sister of Carolyn Harry, and Gregory (Sonya) Gaines. Sister in law of James (Diana) Tillman, Karen (Isaac) Knightshead, Lisa (Ben) McMillian and the late Lillian (Joseph) Jessie, also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends Age: 53 years a native of Marrero, La. and a resident of Harvey, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, The Word of Hope Family Worship Center, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the home going celebration at St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church 6223 6th Ave. Marrero, La. on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 10:00a.m. Rev.
