Ethel "Tiny" Mae McKay, peacefully passed from this life on Saturday, January 4, 2014 after a gradual decline in health. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family during the last days of life. Devoted wife of Tyronne McKay, Sr. Loving mother of Michelle (Warren) Fulwood, Tyrone (Felisia) McKay, Jr., Surruntha (Junior, Sr.) Hicks, and Demetruim (Maria) McKay. Grandmother of Yasmin Kiper, Taylor Fulwood, Tyrin Ferguson, Marcel Converse, Jarius McKay, Junior Hicks, Jr., Autumn Hicks and Demetrium McKay, Jr. Daughter of the late Ethel Mae Brue and Lawrence Brue. Stepdaughter of Carolyn Brue. Sister of Lawrence (Annette) Brue, Jessie (Brenda) Brue, Delaney Brue, Therone Brue, Keith Rivers, Andrew Guildry, Jr, Kenneth Brue, Gelandra (Earl) Battle, Edna Felder, Tracy Julien, Germaine ( Forrest) Collins and Cathy (Joseph) Thomas. Godmother of Sherica Brue; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 59 years a native New Orleans, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of New Home Full Gospel Ministries and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at New Home Full Gospel Ministries, 1616 Carondelet St., New Orleans, LA on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
