Wendell Chess

Wendell Chess departed this life on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Marrero Health Care Center. He was a former machinist, and later employed with Tu’s Tire Shop. Son of the late Woodrow and Rosie Chess. Brother of Horace (Evelyn) Chess, Johnnie (Cynthia) Chess, Mary (the late Al)Thompson, Ester Chess, Jacqueline (Leroy) Landry, Clementine (Rodney)Williams,Lennie Smith, and the late Willie D. Bailey and Edward Chess. Great uncle of the late Marquis Thomas;also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 65 years, a native of Hermanville, MS and a resident of Marrero, LA Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA
