Gwendolyn Ophelia Eugene

Gwendolyn Ophelia Eugene, age 66,  entered into eternal rest at her residence on Thursday, December 20, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was a native of  New Orleans, LA., and a resident of Westwego, LA. Devoted mother of Gwynette  Eugene. Daughter of  the late Audrey Lee Dixon and Samuel Eugene, Sr.Sister of Iola Onezine, Shelia ( Rev. Albert) Ketchens, Annette Parker, Paulette Alexander, Kurt ( Debra ) Dixon, Tracy Eugene and the late Ellen Jones, Mildred Lewis, Samuel Eugene Jr., and Gordon Eugene. Sister-in-law of Everett  Jones and Warren Lewis.  Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other  relatives  and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers and members of Little  Zion  B.C. #3 and all neighboring churches; alumnus of Lincoln High School are invited to attend the Funeral Service from Little Zion B C #3 441  Wilson St. Marrero, LA. on Saturday December 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Norman  D. Smith, III- Officiating. Visitation from 8:00 a.m. until service time at the above named church.Interment: Evening Star Cemetery #2 Harvey, LA.
